During this one day course, you will make a simple frame basket using willow grown at the farm. The course is run by Jo-Anne Bolton from Abundant Earth, near Durham, who has many years experience in both basket making and teaching.
What will be covered and how will you learn?
· How to manipulate willow in to the shape you want
· How to create a trug style basket with handle
· Ideas for other styles of baskets and materials that could be used
What to bring
We will be working inside unless the weather is warm enough to work outside. Clothing should be work clothes rather than your best outfit.
